Working in Cybersecurity
A session for students
Registration is closed.
Cybersecurity plays a bigger role in daily life than most people realise. Attacks can influence politics, interrupt supply chains, and expose the ideas that drive innovation. European companies deal with this reality all the time, and the work to keep them safe rarely slows down.
At Hunt & Hackett, that’s what we focus on. During this session, we’ll show how we approach that work in practice. You’ll hear how global events shape what we do, meet some of the people behind the investigations, and see how threat intelligence supports our response work. The afternoon ends with a borrel where you can chat with our colleagues and peers.
What to expect
- A clearer picture of what cybersecurity looks like today and why it matters beyond the tech world.
- Insight into how global events influence digital threats and investigations.
- An understanding of the people working in cybersecurity and the range of backgrounds they come from.
- How threat intelligence supports investigations and response in practice.
- Real stories, open conversations, and a chance to see what working in this field is actually like.
Who it's for
All students, regardless of study or background. Cybersecurity needs people with different ways of thinking — technical minds, policy makers, communicators, and everything in between. The mix is what makes the field strong.
