To extend our multidisciplinary team we are now hiring a Marketing working student (in case you wonder, no ... it's not an internship, but a real job with responsibilities and a fair salary). Do you like to perform a thorough market analysis and get a feel for a sector? Is writing a sector strategy plan and approach something that makes your clock tick? As a Marketing working student we don’t expect you to just grammar check our website, or push some messages to our social media channels. Although such activities might be required, it is not your core focus, since we expect you to go way beyond that. In this role you are responsible for doing market analysis, develop a strategy and campaigns for the sectors that are important at Hunt & Hackett. The output will be a well-documented overview of what is relevant in the sector, contains a marketing strategy to build our brand in the specific sectors and a SMART planning indicating the corresponding activities to achieve the desired state. This might sound as a lot, which it is. However, don't worry you will be supported by some seniors in the team and we will make sure that your assignment is broken down in scoped sub-assignments in order to guide you through the process and make sure you succeed. 

Once you are done with analyzing the sectors and building a sector specific strategy, you will help in strategizing and optimizing the marketing efforts of our marketing and sales team. This might sound fluffy and abstract to you, but it boils down to actually operationalizing your own written strategy plans into specific action items. Additionally, it is your job to support us in executing our (social media) marketing and communications strategy, by organizing customer events, writing sector specific newsletters/articles and planning other creative marketing outings that are part of the plan.

 

The Hunt & Hackett wish list. The right candidate

  • You have good linguistic (Dutch and English) skills;
  • Graphic design and video editing skills are a plus;
  • Knowledge and experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Analytics, SEO and/or B2B content marketing are a plus;
  • You know which channels to apply to attract the right clients and generate traffic;
  • You are available part-time for at least 16 hours;
  • You are creative, always come up with new ideas, and love to challenge the ‘status quo’
  • You are eager to learn, ambitious and pro-active
  • You don’t merely rely on intuition or what you’ve done in the past but are data-driven.
